The actress, currently in the UK with Akshay Kumar and Arjun Rampal filming Housefull and enjoying record-breaking returns for Love Aaj Kal, talks about growing up in a celebrity household in the magazine, which also uses the iMag format, her love of Ranbir Kapoor and making her debut with SRK.

As Love Aaj Kal ambles past the 30cr mark worldwide in its first week and is expected to easily surpass the 58cr paid by the distributors for the rights to the movie, a surprise star has emerged in the form of Brazilian model Giselli Monteiro in the supporting role of Harleen.

"I had been in India for barely 20 days when I was signed for the film,” she says, "People tell me that here actors have to wait for years for that break. I have been extremely lucky." The actress, who had her lines dubbed for the movie, now hopes to learn Hindi and develop a career in Bollywood.

Meanwhile, it has emerged that Deepika is still technically enrolled as a student at Indira Gandhi National Open University. She completed the first year of a Sociology degree and then didn't return after having found fame and fortune with Om Shanti Om. The university says she will remain registered as a student until 2011.

It took Vishal two months to convince Piggy Chops for the kiss. Priyanka and Shahid’s first intimate scene was shot at Lonavala. A source reveals, Priyanka was not told about the scene in advance.

She categorically told Vishal that she was uncomfortable doing the kissing scene.Vishal did not press the issue and shot the scene without the kiss.

Unhappy with the love making scene, Vishal called both Shahid and Priyanka to check the accuracy of the scene. Priyanka on watching felt that something was missing.

Salman Khan is so taken in by Prabhu Deva, he’s even agreed to work with him in another film! Prabhu Deva who has dabbled in acting and choreographing has also directed Salman Khan in his latest film Wanted.

Incidentally, the film is Prabhu Deva’s debut directorial venture in Bollywood. I am told that Salman Khan has been receiving very positive responses to his film and that has apparently prompted Khan to agree for another project with Prabhu.

Prabhu, if you remember, has done a lot of films down south as an actor and has received many accolades for his dance performances in the films there.

Needless to say that she required the least preparation for this scene. Just an empty tummy, maybe?After many takes when the shot was okayed, and Imtiaz was happy with the footage, they realised that Deepika had gulped down twenty-one paani-puris.

And now the thriller tentatively titled Crooked, which Abhishek and Aishwarya were supposed to start this summer, has been pushed to the end of the year, again for health reasons.

Director Abhinay Deo was supposed to start Crooked immediately after his directorial debut. However Abhinay who’s just wrapped up Delhi Belly for producer Aamir Khan has a seriousness illness in his family.

Deo’s wife has fallen ill, and the director suddenly needed to take time off to be with her thereby, throwing the entire Crooked schedule off course.

Abhishek and Aishwarya have readjusted their dates. We now shoot in Greece, Istanbul and Thailand at year-end.

Incidentally the film won’t be finally called Crooked. “We need a good Hindi title. And we’ve told the film’s dialogue writer Anurag Kashyap to find one for us,” says Sidhwani.

Asin had been signed up as Big Bazaar brand ambassador just few months back, but had only done a print ad campaign with them since then. This is her first TV ad shoot for the brand.It is learnt that this recent ad shoot featuring Asin and Dhoni took an entire day and saw many clothes changes for both of them.

I hurt my leg and got sunburns, I hurt my back really badly in the rain song when the saree shrunk and yesterday I hurt my neck. My back is still hurting but it’s just a strain. The pain will go away and I am just grateful that we have finished shooting for the film. I am glad it’s all over and I am alive in one piece.

He took pictures without her permission and followed her everywhere. Asin was in Singapore when a man, who seemed to be in his mid-20s, kept following her everywhere. The drama unfolded at the hotel where she was staying.

He approached Asin to talk to her, without paying heed to the security guards surrounding her. A friend of Asin, who was with her, said, “Before she could react, he started taking her pictures. Suddenly, he started behaving even more strangely. He pretended he was her bodyguard and stopped people from going near her.

During the function, he tricked the security guards at the venue and reached the dining room where Asin was having a meal. “He told the guards that he had come from Indore and wanted to talk to her at any cost. He tried every trick in the book to convince them and succeeded,” Asin’s friend said.

The man followed her even when she was shopping at a mall. When she reached the hotel, she saw him in the lobby too. Next morning, Asin rushed out of the hotel and headed straight to the airport for her flight to Mumbai. “She feared that he would be waiting outside the airport, but luckily this time, he wasn’t around,” said the friend.
