Farah Khan wants to play the peacemaker between Salman-SRK

The choreographer-turned-director, believes that the fight between the actors is getting longer.

"I wish I could bridge the gap. I love both of them. It's (the fight) getting longer now," Farah told PTI.

Farah, who has turned a chat-show host with 'Tere Mere Beach Mein' had Salman Khan and his mother as her first celebrity guests while she is planning to bring Shah Rukh in the final episode.

"Since Salman had never come on a chat show before and was very candid during the show, we made him the first guest. But Shah Rukh will be the last one to keep the audience hooked till the end," she says.

The two Khans of Bollywood have not been on talking terms since last year, with both taking regular digs at each other in public, after a fight at the birthday party of Salman's girlfriend Katrina Kaif.

Interestingly, Shah Rukh owned Red Chillies is one of the producers of the show.

Salman Khan cancels his US trip

Bollywood star Salman Khan has cancelled his upcoming trip to New York to promote his latest movie "Wanted", besides participating in the auction of his personal paintings to raise funds for his charity.

Organisers and promoters associated with the event cited Shah Rukh Khan's episode at Newark Airport early this month, where he was questioned by immigration officials and taken for a second screening, as a major reason for Salman to cancel his New York trip scheduled in early September.

The event was scheduled for September 3 in New York. The promoters were also in talks with local organisers in cities like Chicago, Houston and Dallas for his other events.

"However, after the Shah Rukh Khan event, Salman informed us that he would not like to take the risk of coming to the US at this point," an informed source involved with the planning and organising the September 3 event told PTI.

Deepika like to work with Salman

Deepika Padukone is just four-films-old, but the dusky damsel has been able to star with the biggest names of the glamour world. Now the starlet desires to work with the most eligible bachelor of B-town, Salman Khan.

I`m so new in the industry and I have been very lucky to have got the opportunity to work with the biggest names in the industry. ”I have worked with SRK, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan and now I would like to work with Salman,” Deepika said.

Though Deepika doesn’t share a good bond with Salman’s sweetheart Katrina Kaif, she is still game to work with the handsome hunk.

Salman and Kamaal Khan return with WANTED

Salman Khan and Kamaal Khan made history as they collaborated with 'O O Jaane Jaana' for the film PYAAR KIYA TO DARNA KYA (1998). The song as well as the film was a huge hit and soon Kamaal Khan became a household name.

Now the two Khans are reuniting for the film WANTED that features a song titled 'Ishq Vishq'. Composed by Sajid-Wajid, the song yet again boasts of a catchy tune and though purists may argue that the song doesn't offer anything new, the fact remains that the entire project is designed as a Salman Khan mass entertainer which goes back to old school masala entertainment genre. While Kamaal certainly seems to be enjoying his outing, Salman too is going all out in this song.

Well, one indeed believes Wajid when he says that because since the time of 'O O Jaane Jaana', Kamaal Khan has sung quite a few chartbuster tracks for Salman in films like HELLO BROTHER, KAHIN PYAAR NA HO JAAYE, TUMKO NA BHOOL PAAYENGE, TERE NAAM, DIL NE JIS APNA KAHA and MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA. Now add WANTED to the list!

Salman terrorized by Swine Flu

Earlier it was Karan Johar and now, Salman Khan seems to be fretting over swine flu! Apparently, Sallu miya does not want to take any chance with the dreadful disease.

So, Salman along with the other star cast and crew of Wanted canceled the venue of the press conference, which was scheduled at Amby valley on Aug 12.

Reliable sources reveal, “Amby valley is close to Pune, which is largely hit by the swine flu. So, Salman took the decision keeping in mind the consequences of the situation.” The sources go on to add, “Now, the press conference will be held in Mumbai.”

Media is lying Salman didn't take a penny

Salman Khan has been put in a bad light by electronic media. The news channels has reported Salman to have been paid one crore to attend the music launch of the film organized last week.

Naseer puts an end to such rumours and says, “It simply pathetic on the part of media to report such a loose report. My association with Salman Khan has a history behind it. We met while we were shooting for our respective projects at filmcity.

We would have a nice chat during the break, after Salman would shoot for his ad-film. And he gave me word to be of any help in future.” He goes on to add, “I have not had a good experience in the industry as far as association is concerned.

So, I was little reluctant to approach Salman, even though he had promised. Salman was approached by my spokesperson and eventually on goodwill was present at the launch. I feel extremely disgusted at such a nasty remark by media.”

Salman Khan is so taken in by Prabhu Deva, he’s even agreed to work with him in another film! Prabhu Deva who has dabbled in acting and choreographing has also directed Salman Khan in his latest film Wanted.

Incidentally, the film is Prabhu Deva’s debut directorial venture in Bollywood. I am told that Salman Khan has been receiving very positive responses to his film and that has apparently prompted Khan to agree for another project with Prabhu.

Asin shooting for London Dreams starring Salman Khan

Ghajini girl Asin Thottumkal recently shot the new Big Bazaar TV Commercial with Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni at a studio in Filmcity, Mumbai.


Asin had been signed up as Big Bazaar brand ambassador just few months back, but had only done a print ad campaign with them since then. This is her first TV ad shoot for the brand.It is learnt that this recent ad shoot featuring Asin and Dhoni took an entire day and saw many clothes changes for both of them.

I hurt my leg and got sunburns, I hurt my back really badly in the rain song when the saree shrunk and yesterday I hurt my neck. My back is still hurting but it’s just a strain. The pain will go away and I am just grateful that we have finished shooting for the film. I am glad it’s all over and I am alive in one piece.

Sonakshi sinha was offered a role by Salman khan

Shatrughan and Punam Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi was offered a role by Salman in a film to be produced by Arbaaz Khan. But Sonakshi, apparently in two minds about a film career, decided not to do it. She had studied fashion designing and that’s what she wanted to pursue as a career.

Salman Khan wins TV show 'Dance India Dance'

Last Saturday, he beat Alisha Singh, Siddhesh Pai and Jai Kumar Nair to the golden hat at the grand finale of the reality show, Dance India Dance.
