Anushka Sharma came into the world of films, it was the Yash Raj banner who took her in and gave her first film which also went on to become a hit, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
However, she also had to sign an exclusive three-film contract with YRF which bars her from working with any outside production house. This has put poor Anushka Sharma in quite a frenzy and the actress is now getting extremely restless as she wants to take on more work.
As of now, the actress is working alongside Shahid Kapoor in Parmeet Sethi's next feature with Yash Raj in Hyderabad.
However, she has made it extremely clear to the director that she wants to finish up shooting for the film as soon as possible and then sign on her last film with Yash Raj so she can finally sign a film outside the banner.
The films location will soon move to the U.S. without a break which works for both Anushka and director, Parmeet.
Rumor has it that many directors have shown an interest in Anushka but due to her contract constraints, she is unable to take any projects further. Her spokesperson went on to clarify, "Anushka is happy with her Yashraj contract.
She is free to do films outside the banner. She dislikes talking about projects that are in the pipeline and will talk about them when they hit the floor." Amidst all this, the grapevines claim that Anushka is dating co-star Shahid Kapoor which they both have yet to confirm.
