Salman and Kamaal Khan return with WANTED

Salman Khan and Kamaal Khan made history as they collaborated with 'O O Jaane Jaana' for the film PYAAR KIYA TO DARNA KYA (1998). The song as well as the film was a huge hit and soon Kamaal Khan became a household name.

Now the two Khans are reuniting for the film WANTED that features a song titled 'Ishq Vishq'. Composed by Sajid-Wajid, the song yet again boasts of a catchy tune and though purists may argue that the song doesn't offer anything new, the fact remains that the entire project is designed as a Salman Khan mass entertainer which goes back to old school masala entertainment genre. While Kamaal certainly seems to be enjoying his outing, Salman too is going all out in this song.

Well, one indeed believes Wajid when he says that because since the time of 'O O Jaane Jaana', Kamaal Khan has sung quite a few chartbuster tracks for Salman in films like HELLO BROTHER, KAHIN PYAAR NA HO JAAYE, TUMKO NA BHOOL PAAYENGE, TERE NAAM, DIL NE JIS APNA KAHA and MAINE PYAAR KYUN KIYA. Now add WANTED to the list!

Shahid Kapoor goes topless in his upcoming release Kaminey

Shahid Kapoor is all out to flaunt his macho look. He goes topless in his upcoming release Kaminey. The good news is that the promo of the film featuring Shahid shirtless has become a rage and it’s driving his female fans crazy.

Shahid went shirtless in the hit film Jab We Met too but he is more excited this time around, as he had put lots of effort to get the look. He revealed that it took nearly a year of strict dieting and work out to get the sprinter’s look.

He added that it was Vishal Bharadwaj’s vision to have a topless scene with him running with the horses.

The actor is happy with the kind of response he is getting for the shirtless scene. He said that Vishal wanted to shock the audience with the look.

Kaminey being produced by Ronnie Screwvala of UTV Motion Pictures and directed by Vishal Bharadwaj features Shahid in a double role.

Priyanka Chopra, who is rumoured to be having affair with Shahid, is the heroine of the film.It is scheduled for release this Friday, 14th August.

Salman Khan signed Prabhu Deva's another film

Salman Khan is so taken in by Prabhu Deva, he’s even agreed to work with him in another film! Prabhu Deva who has dabbled in acting and choreographing has also directed Salman Khan in his latest film Wanted.

Incidentally, the film is Prabhu Deva’s debut directorial venture in Bollywood. I am told that Salman Khan has been receiving very positive responses to his film and that has apparently prompted Khan to agree for another project with Prabhu.

Prabhu, if you remember, has done a lot of films down south as an actor and has received many accolades for his dance performances in the films there.

Shahrukh khan playing a father on screen

Shahrukh Khan to play the role of a father in two movies "My Name Is Khan" and Anubhav Sinha’s "Ra 1". Although most actors shy away from playing such roles Shahrukh had qualms about playing a father on screen.



Most stars are apprehensive of loosing their charm once they play an aged character on screen but not Shahrukh.

Shahrukh who plays Rizwan Khan in My Name Is Khan will be the father of a teenager in the movie. The superstar said these things should not bother an actor.

He argues that at 30 if he could play a college student Kuch Kuch Hota Hai at 43 he can definitely play a father with his own son Aryan being 11 years old.

Asin shooting for London Dreams starring Salman Khan

Ghajini girl Asin Thottumkal recently shot the new Big Bazaar TV Commercial with Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni at a studio in Filmcity, Mumbai.


Asin had been signed up as Big Bazaar brand ambassador just few months back, but had only done a print ad campaign with them since then. This is her first TV ad shoot for the brand.It is learnt that this recent ad shoot featuring Asin and Dhoni took an entire day and saw many clothes changes for both of them.

Meanwhile, Asin is shooting for London Dreams starring Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan and her Indo-Japanese venture.Anything sprout out of this friendship, as both Asin and Dhoni are big names in their profession. Above all, both of them are single and ready to mingle.

King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan may quit acting

Shahrukh Khan, the Baadshah of Bollywood. He may quit acting and jump into film direction if Karan Johar’s views are any indication. The hit filmmaker has the gut feeling that Shahrukh has it in him to make a wonderful film director.

Karan Johar, who has worked with Shahrukh in a few films, including their latest film My Name is Khan, seems to be watching him from the close quarters. He is all praise for him and said that his ability to give attention to detail and empathise with different characters would make him a good director.

He feels King Khan’s ability to understand human nature and emotions is another attribute of a film director.

Well, Shahrukh Khan, who has been honoured with a doctorate degree by the Bedfordshire University, UK, for his contribution to arts and culture, has not expressed quitting films. But going by his recent moves, it looks like he would hang up the boots soon.

Sonakshi sinha was offered a role by Salman khan

Shatrughan and Punam Sinha’s daughter Sonakshi was offered a role by Salman in a film to be produced by Arbaaz Khan. But Sonakshi, apparently in two minds about a film career, decided not to do it. She had studied fashion designing and that’s what she wanted to pursue as a career.

The girl hadn’t bargained for Salman’s persuasive powers. Apparently he kept asking Sonakshi and her parents (who are very fond of Salman) until they finally relented.And now Sonakshi has finally said yes to the untitled film which begins shooting in a couple of months.

Says a source very close to the project, “Salman saw Sonakshi at the Fashion Week and told her to lose 10 kgs. Sonakshi decided to lose 30 kgs.

Trisha over excited to debut in Bollywood with Akshay Kumar

A new south sensation is going to firm her foot in Bollywood opposite stunt hero Akshay Kumar. South star Trisha is going to make her Bollywood debut with director Priyadarshan’s ‘Khatta Meetta’ to be produced by Akshay’s production company Hari Om.

It is learnt that Trisha is the personal choice of Akki. He saw some of Trisha’s Kollywood films and impressed with her acting and style. When he expressed his desire to meet the actress, Trisha flew down to meet him. Impressed with her, Akshay Kumar signed Trisha.

Trisha was over excited to debut in Bollywood. She has delivered number of hits in the South and was waiting for the right opportunity to step in Bollywood. What excites her the most is that she will be directed by that same man who has introduced her to film industry.

Priyadharshan commented, “Trisha is playing the heroine opposite Akshay Kumar in this film. Akshay was keen on doing the film with a new face, that too from south and after seeing Trisha’s performance in a few South Indian movies, Trisha has become his only choice…”

Katrina Kaif replaced Priyanka Chopra in sequel Dostana 2

Katrina Kaif might just have replaced Priyanka Chopra in the sequel to Dostana. Reports that Katrina Kaif will join Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham in the much-awaited sequel.

The paper also suggests that the move might spark a fresh round of debate about the current status of Katrina’s relationship with Salman Khan, who reportedly doesn’t share the warmest of vibes with both the stars.

The Dostana sequel is also supposed to star Ritesh Deshmukh and Shreyas Talpade who are to play a real gay couple in the movie.
