Priyanka Chopra to play 12 different roles

Actress Priyanka Chopra will be the first one ever to play 12 different roles in a film. However, actor Rajesh Shringarpure has already played 12 different characters way back in the year 2006. This was for the Marathi movie SHAMBHU MAZA NAVSACHA directed by Subhash Phadke.

Says Rajesh, ''I never realized I was creating a record of sorts while working on SHAMBHU MAZA NAVSACHA. Someone informed me about it and I was pleasantly surprised at the moment.

I have never really publicized this fact as I really do not like to spread news about myself, but I think it would be safe to say that yes I have played 12 different characters in a film.''

Though everyone, including the scribes who normally love to bitch about her, were ecstatic that Piggy Chops is soaking herself wet on the beaches abroad, the celebration mood was spoilt after a work commitment needed the actress to be back in town.

Actually, it was the dubbing for Priyanka's upcoming film WHAT'S YOUR RASHEE that played the spoilsport. Though, Priyanka gladly came back and did her bit, it was at the cost of her holidaying mood that the Bollywood hottie came back in town to finish the pending work.

Though, she's not complaining, since she's joining her family and friends back at the undisclosed holiday destination one more time, we hope it's not work calling her back again in the middle of her much deserved break.

Priyanka Chopra hate being sick!

Priyanka Chopra may be working too hard at the moment came with the news that she had to cancel a day's shooting with Uday Chopra for Pyaar Impossible because of a viral attack. "Down with the flu or viral or some such thing that is making me miserable.Ugh! I hate being sick! Had to cancel shoot. Guilty," she announced on Twitter.

Priyanka has hardly stopped in the last nine months, working on Kaminey, What's Your Rashee, which will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, and now Pyaar Impossible as well as handling her extra-curricular commitments with regard to events and promotions - most recently the launch of Nokia's new camera range. She is well known in the industry for her professionalism bordering on being a workaholic with regular 16 or 20 hour days.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor's mother Neelima Azeem is hoping to cast Priyanka in her first movie as producer. "Yes, I met up with Priyanka at her house," she confirms, "She is the only girl in the industry whom I have approached. She fits the role. The heroine appears only in the second half. It's a very vital role." The project is as yet untitled.

Priyanka-Shahid story hitting ex-lovers seem to reconnected

Priyanka Chopra who is shooting for YRF’s Pyaar Impossible in Bangkok was spotted with her ex-boyfriend Aseem Merchant at a night club recently. For those of you who did not know about the Priyanka-Aseem story, they were very much together from 1999-2002. After completing Kaminey the newest love birds in town have got yet another opportunity to spend some quality time with each other. Sources say that the two are inseparable even at rehearsal times. Shahid, who is a great dancer, also helped Priyanka to perform her steps better.
